About Me

We had a son May 22, 2007 named Asa William and his sister Edith Hanby soon followed on May 26, 2009. We reside currently in Candler, NC (just outside of Asheville). We're not quite in the country, but definitely out of the city. There's plenty of room for us to garden and at least 100 weekends worth of projects at our fixer-upper house. We both enjoy college basketball and we both HATE DUKE. This is very important. We are pretty smart and somewhat undermotivated at the moment. This will change someday soon when we find the things we want to do for a living. We met when we were working for a wilderness program. Wes was my boss (wink wink). We like getting outdoors to hike, but still don't make it out much overnight. We love live music. Annie likes to write, do yoga, run, read, knit, and make jewelry. Wes likes to collect and listen to music of almost any kind. He's good at many many things, and one day he might write them here. We both adore our nieces and nephews. Our friends and family are the most important things to us. Boy are we lucky.
